Who are we?

Empowerment Through Education Fund is a non-profit company (NPC) based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are the philanthropic arm of Dr van der Ross Primary School.

We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a brighter future for the next generation. Through strategic partnerships, community-driven initiatives, and dedicated fundraising efforts, we strive to bridge the gap in educational inequalities and provide learners with the tools they need to succeed.

Our team is passionate about making a tangible impact in the lives of students, teachers, and schools. By working closely with educators, parents, and local stakeholders, we ensure that the funds raised are directed toward meaningful and sustainable projects that benefit the broader community.

We are taking the time to help our parents support their children. We aim to give them insight and practical tools to achieve their goals.

Academic Tools

Part of becoming a THINKING SCHOOL, we are working with DVR Primary School. Sharing knowledge with teachers about fantastic visual tools to engage critical thinking!

AI in Schools

Our AI Project is aimed at equipping teachers with practical resources to decrease their admin by a whopping 90%. This will change the game by allowing teachers to teach! Parents are also getting involved and learning about the world of AI and the doors it can open.
